i am confused by some peoples anger on this. I read through all the answers and though many vary the truth is there has been an ice age before. That is fact. i dont think people are condoning or supportive of man made global warming they are giving facts and i learned alot from just reading the answers .that makes me want to research for myself. some of you that are saying spiteful things should simmer down man.Dude we all have to share the planet
Sorry this is not a direct answer to your question, but I am just getting sick of all the answers people are leaving.
I wish people stopped going on about the cattle producing methane. If you haven't noticed, cattle are human breeded. Infact, there would be no such thing as cattle without man. They have been breeded by man, so please stop thinking of them as natural. Maybe we should all become vegetarians, if this can stop global warming. I'd prefer a veggie diet than the corruption of the human race personally.
Anyway, the point is that global warming most likely wouldn't be happening in this extreme without man on the planet. CO2 should never have reached this high density, and the future doesn't look bright.
Another point is that we aren't going to be able to use fossil fuels in the near future - they are running out. So even if man-made global warming is a 'scam', we need wind turbines to make energy in the future anyway.

There have been 4 ice ages in the Earths history so you could use that point.I believe we should protect our environment but this is simply history repeating itself. I cannot dispute that man-made factors may accelerate this but it is bound to happen regardless. Good luck on your assignment

There is a virtual mountain of verified scientific evidence to disprove global warming, and Algore doesn't even come close to qualifying as an expert on the subject, so if I were you I wouldn't use ';An Inconvenient Truth'; as part of your presentation. That is, unless you are willing to do the research and point out the untruths in the movie...
