We are what you once were.

We believe what you once believed.

We worship as you once worshipped.

If you were right then, we are right now.

If we are wrong now, you were wrong then.
1. True, ';To the Church belongs the right always and everywhere to announce moral principles,...and to make judgement on any human affairs to the extent that they are required by the fundamental rights of the human person or the salvation of souls';.

';To fulfill this service, Christ endowed the Church's shepherds with the charism of infallibility....The Roman Pontiff, head of the college of bishops, enjoys this infallibility...';

2. False, ';By his death and Resurrection, Jesus Christ has ';opened'; heaven to us....He makes partners..who have believed in him and remained faithful to his will.';

3. True - I had a Monsigneur tell me that they only accept Catholics for Communion (I couldn't find it in the book)

4. False - ';Spouses to whom God has not granted children can nevertheless have a conjugal life full of meaning, in both human and Christian terms.';

5.True ';Who ever divorces his wife and marries another, commits adultery against her.....if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.'; - the Chruch maintains that a new union cannot be recognized as valid.

6.True - ';For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ,...has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered.';

7.False - ';All who die in God's grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified,..undergo purifcation...The Church gives the name Purgatory to the final purification of the elect,';

Not sure how to answer 6. I guess it depends on your definition of ';change'; and ';doctrine';. Sorry if I sound like Bill Clinton.

I will say 7 is true. The whole Limbo thing is more than a little weird. The church never had an official stance on what happened to those unbaptized. Limbo was a theory which basically said ';we are not sure, it is up to God';.
